Also available in 1/4 comma meantone and many more temperaments/frettings. Xelo features a 25" scale length, two hand-wound AlNiCo V single coil pickups that can be put in series (reverse wound, reverse polarity). Available in various wood types, like sapele, purple heart, and African mahogany.
A smooth and visually appealing neck
The fine grain structure of African mahogany is attractive to the eye. It's even more pronounced due to the natural finish of oils and waxes. It's a hardwood, though relatively lightweight. If you prefer the somewhat darker and heavier sapele, a different mahogany species, I have that too.
Select your preferred fingerboard
Whether it's the wood type or the temperament, your fingerboard is customisable to a high extent. There's usually a purple heart supply, but I always have some other wood types available as well, for those who prefer something different. Fancy a 19-TET or fretless fingerboard? I'll make you one.
Peterson fine tuning bundle
A quarter comma meantone fingerboard, while the A should be tuned to 415 Hertz, but you prefer your strings in drop D? No problem, I'll get you the appropriate settings. Tuning your instrument correctly is essential, also for the non-standard temperaments I offer. Regular tuners are chromatic only, so they only satisfy 12-TET guitars and basses, only at 440 Hertz. Therefore, Xelos and Ximos are available bundled with Peterson strobe tuners, like the StroboStomp HD or Mini, for a reduced price. Peterson offers the possibility to create your own temperament, so no matter what guitar fretting you order with me, I'll create the corresponding tuner setting for you.
